Jazz is Rebecca's first love, having grown up singing along with Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra and Carmen McRae from her dad's record collection. Later, she studied it more formally with Mark Bassey at the City Lit College and Scott Stroman and Peter Churchill at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, where she also had the honour of touring with Kenny Wheeler.
As well as performing her Women in Jazz and Trio projects, Rebecca loves singing the old tunes from the great American songbook and continues to explore the rich and varied repertoire of her musical tradition.
